Forged Carbon

Forged carbon parts — the marble-pattern finish, not woven twill.

Forged carbon is a different material from the 2×2 twill weave that makes up most of this site. Instead of woven sheets, it's chopped carbon tow compressed and cured under heat and pressure, and the result is that mottled, marbled pattern with no repeating grid — every panel comes out unique. Lamborghini and Mansory made it famous; we build it for the cars where that look belongs.

What forged carbon is good for

Two things. First, aesthetics: the marble look reads as exotic in a way twill no longer does, because twill is now on everything. Second, complex shapes — because it's a moldable compound rather than a sheet you drape, forged carbon forms tight curves and thick sections that woven carbon struggles with. It's not lighter than dry twill prepreg, so pick it for the look, not the gram count.
